Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar wished a speedy recovery to Amitabh Bachchan, soon after the biggest superstar of Bollywood was tested positive for coronavirus.

In his tweet, Sachin wrote, “Take care Amit ji. Praying for your good health and quick recovery.”

Big B was admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai as soon as his test for the novel coronavirus came ‘positive’ on Saturday night.

Pakistan’s legendary cricketer Shoaib Akhtar also tweeted for the megastar. “Get well soon Amit ji. Prayers for a speedy recovery from all your fans across the border,” wrote the former speedster.

2011 World Cup hero, Yuvraj Singh, in his message for Mr Bachchan, said: “Wishing you a speedy recovery @SrBachchan. The prayers and good wishes of the entire country are behind you. You have always been a fighter and will see this through too with your will power and resilience. Hope you get well really soon.”

Former cricket stars like Mohammad Kaif, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan and Yusuf Pathan along with current cricketers Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane and Iqbal Abdulla also wished Amitabh Bachchan ‘a speedy recovery’.
