The coronavirus outbreak has caused a massive disruption in sporting landscapes, and cricket is no different. The absence of cricketing actions has carved an enormous void encircling both cricket fans and players’ lives. However, as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining, and so does this one.
The pandemic has been a blessing for fans to know more about their favourite cricketer, their hobbies and interests. With no practice sessions and arduous tours in near sight, most of the cricketers have been filling the emptiness by regularly interacting with fans, sharing untold secrets, hilarious anecdotes and honing their skills in different disciplines.
Jasprit Bumrah, the most lethal and ferocious bowler of our current generation, has shown that he is equally skilful in composing a poetic message to his loved ones as he is in delivering those toe-crushing yorkers with impeccable accuracy.
He has shared a captivating post on Twitter on the eve of his sister’s birthday. Soon, the barrage of celebratory comments from Indian cricket fans followed.
Bumrah wrote: “You have a way of brightening everyone’s world with your warm smile & beautiful soul. With each passing year, I hope you shine brighter & all your wishes come true. Happy birthday Juhika.”

The pandemic has also provided a much-needed rest for Bumrah, who is among the most injury-prone bowlers of the Indian team.
Once the cricket resumes, things are going to be hectic with lots of important tournaments going to be played in a very short span of time.
So it’s great that Bumrah will be fresh and vigorous with no glimpse of weariness on his face. Further, the Ahmedabad-born is going to be the most crucial bowler for India when they depart for the Australia tour later this year.
