England Test captain Joe Root has announced the birth of his second child with wife Carrie Cotterell. On Wednesday (July 08), morning, Root posted an adorable picture with his new-born resting on his left arm while his right arm was wrapped around his other son Alfred William.

Cotterell used to work at a bar, The Arc, in Headingley, Leeds – the home to Yorkshire County Cricket Club, who Root plays for. The couple got blessed with a baby for the first time in January 2017.
