Legendary Sony TV show ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma’ is at the cusp of reaching the glorious milestone- shooting of 3000 episodes.

The Indian sitcom is one of the longest shows to be aired on television. TMKOC has been a household name since it was first aired in 2008. The show has resumed it’s shooting post the COVID-19 hiatus.

Now, TMKOC star Munmun Dutta has opened up on having a huge crush on former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar.

Dutta shot to fame with the role of ‘Babita Iyer’ in the show. She has been quite interactive off-late with her fans with latest posts.

The model and actor enjoys a massive following on social media and is renowned for being active on Instagram.

According to reports by TV times, the Durgapur-born actor had a big crush on the popularly acclaimed ‘Rawalpindi Express’.

Dutta has also made appearances in movies such as Movie Xpress, Holiday and Dhinchak Enterprise.

Unsurprisingly, television fame also had a massive crush on the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’, Shah Rukh Khan.

On the other hand, Akhtar has been quite vocal about his opinions related to cricket through his videos on the Youtube channel. ‘

Recently, Akhtar registered his disappointment about the cancellation of the Asia Cup, 2020 T20 World Cup, and the Indian Premier League (IPL) slotted in as a replacement.

“Asia Cup could have definitely happened, it would have been a great chance for India and Pakistan to play against each other. There are many reasons behind this. I don’t want to get into that. T20 World Cup could have also happened, but I had already said earlier that they won’t let it happen. IPL should not be damaged, let the World Cup go to hell,” Akhtar said earlier.
