South Indian actress Nagma wished former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly on his 48th birthday. She took to Twitter and posted a tweet tagging the current BCCI president.

Nagma and Sourav were said to be in a relationship a couple of decades ago. During an interview, she indirectly talked about being in a relationship with the Prince of Kolkata. She also revealed the reasons why the duo had to part ways.

“Whatever one says, nobody has denied anything. As long as there is no denial of each other’s existence in each other’s life, any person can say anything they want. There was a career at stake, besides other things, so one had to part. One had to weigh a lot of things, rather than be on an ego trip and insist on being together,” the 45-year-old Nagma was quoted as saying to an entertainment magazine.

Nagma has featured in many Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies and is currently a politician. As far as Ganguly is concerned, he tied the knot with Odissi dancer Dona Roy on February 21, 1997. Four years later, she gave birth to a daughter, which the couple named as Sana. On the field, Ganguly retired back in 2008 after the home Test series against Australia.

Well, Ganguly hasn’t responded to the birthday wish by Nagma yet. But netizens were surprised to see the post and have made it a meme material.
