The exuberance and dynamism of Bollywood star Ranveer Singh’s presence carry a mystical power to light up even a dejected, downhearted gathering into a spectacle of some sort.

The actor’s distinctive persona radiates incessant energy of its kind. This trait, along with his extraordinary craftsmanship, has earned him a massive chunk of followers and even cricketers can’t escape his fandom.

The Bollywood star has turned a year older, celebrating his 35th birthday today in locked down at his home in Mumbai.

Twitter, as usual, is flooded with celebratory messages. One that stands out from the rest is Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan’s birthday wish for the actor. The southpaw shared an entertaining snippet where both of them are grooving to a Bollywood step.

Shikhar wrote, “#HappyBirthdayRanveerSingh bro Here’s to more fun and exchanging dance lessons together in the future @RanveerOfficial.”

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina too wrote a short and straightforward birthday post.

“Happy Birthday to one of the most versatile actor! Just love your never-ending energy & how you can make everyone dance, tweeted Raina.

Ranveer will be playing the role of an iconic Indian all-rounder Kapil Dev in his upcoming movie. It is based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup when Indian team, against all the odds, pulled out a terrific victory against the invincible West Indies. Kapil, the then captain of the Indian team, played a significant role with the ball and as a fielder to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against the Carribeans.

Meanwhile, both Shikhar and Raina were all set to entertain their fans in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) which was scheduled to commence from March 29. But due to coronavirus pandemic, the BCCI postponed it for an indefinite period. In the cash-rich league, Shikhar plays for his home team Delhi Capitals (DC), while Raina is the vice-captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
