Wishes came pouring in for the first-time parents Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic after the Indian cricketer broke out the news of the birth of his baby boy on Thursday (July 30).

Hardik took to social media to share an adorable picture of his newborn baby.

“We are blessed with our baby boy,” tweeted the Baroda all-rounder.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star batsman Suresh Raina was among the first ones to wish Hardik and Natasa. “Many congratulations to you both, have a great time being a parent. God bless the Lil Champ,” Raina wrote responding to Hardik’s post.

Team India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli wrote, “Congratulations you both.”

India opener Shikhar Dhawan also commented: ‘Congratulations my brother @hardikpandya93 on the birth of your son! Lots of love to Natasa, the beautiful boy and you Hope everyone is healthy.”

Other players from cricket fraternity – Sachin Tendulkar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Surya Kumar Yadav and BCCI also wished Hardik and Natasa.

Hardik had revealed that his partner was pregnant during the nationwide lockdown. The 26-year-old also shared some photos from their private ceremony.

On the work front, Hardik is expected to be back in action for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 which is slated to be held in the UAE from September 19. Hardik missed most of the international cricket games in 2019 due to a back injury. He underwent surgery and was ruled out from the game for an extended period.
