The forced lockdown in the wake of coronavirus has brought the world to a screeching halt. Although sporting activity has resumed in some parts of the world, life has returned to normalcy, there’s no such respite in India.

With more than 2 million total cases, India is one of the worst-hit nations in the world. For the vast majority of people, life has come to a standstill. There’s no cricket, no new movies are being released, and there’s not much a person can do at home.

For most of the celebrities isolated at home with not much to do, social media has come to rescue.

In one such instance, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif shared a nostalgic picture, reminiscing about the good old days when life was normal, and she could play cricket without any restrictions.

Katrina is seen with a bat in one hand and a cup of some beverage in another. “Missing Cricket, always ready to play. properly attired or no”, she captioned her Instagram post.

This is not the first time the Bollywood diva has expressed her love for the beautiful game. Earlier, she has been spotted playing cricket numerous times during her shooting schedule.

The 37-years old is a big fan of the legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid, and she used to support Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Indian Premier League (IPL).

“I like Rahul Dravid, who I believe is a true gentleman… He never seems to get upset, angry or hyper. Having said that I have never spoken more than three words with him. He is very shy,” remarked Katrina in the past.

On the professional front, Katrina is awaiting the release of her latest film ‘Sooryavanshi’ where she will be sharing the screen with renowned actor Akshay Kumar.
