Days after welcoming his first child with wife Nupur Nagar, Team India fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has shared the first photo of the little one on Instagram.
Bhuvi and Nupur got blessed with a baby girl on November 24 this year, and almost four weeks later, the 31-year-old pacer gave the world a first glimpse of his little princess.
Besides fans, several of Bhuvi’s close friends – Suresh Raina, Karn Sharma and Ishwar Pandey – congratulated the couple.
Bhuvneshwar had a tough year, professionally as well as personally. His father, Kiran Pal Singh, passed away at his Meerut residence in May after battling liver cancer for eight months. In the recently concluded T20I series against New Zealand, Bhuvneshwar picked three wickets in as many matches.
The right-arm seamer only played one game in the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup against Pakistan, conceding 25 runs in three overs. After that match, the then captain Virat Kohli didn’t pick him in the final XI.
Bhuvneshwar has been in and out of India’s Test team but is a consistent member of the limited-overs side.
