Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer, known for his hilarious memes and suggestions on social media platforms, came again into the limelight. In his latest post, Jaffer explained how to tackle New Zealand bowler Kyle Jamieson, who has always enjoyed success over Indian batters in Test cricket.

To negate the Jamieson threat, Jaffer posted a photo and said there should be a “height limit” outside the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai- the venue for the ongoing second and final Test match between India and New Zealand.

One way to negate the Jamieson threat could be to put this height limit outside Wankhede,” Jaffer captioned his post.

After taking six wickets in the Kanpur Test, the 26-year-old bowler became the quickest New Zealand cricketer to register 50 Test wickets after former pacer Shane Bond. He picked up 52 scalps in 9 Test matches at an average of 15.05. The reason he remained a threat for India for a couple of years as 20 of his 52 Test wickets came against India.

Even in the 2021 ICC World Test Championship final, Jamieson took seven important wickets of India, including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Cheteshwar Pujara.

The Auckland speedster was rewarded with a spot in the Top 10 bowlers of ICC Test Ranking for sharing the best bowling figure in a short period. He is currently at 9th position in the list with 776 points.

In the ongoing second Test match, at the end of Day 1, India Scored 221/4 in 70 overs with Mayank Agarwal (120 off 246) and Wriddhiman Saha (25 off 53) at the crease.

India lost the wicket of Shubman Gill (44 off 71), Pujara (0 off 5), Kohli (0 off 4), and Shreyas Iyer (18 off 41), respectively.
