With the entire world celebrating the beginning of 2022, cricketers also didn’t miss the opportunity to wish their fans. Indian Test captain Virat Kohli extended his greetings on the occasion of the New Year.

Taking to Twitter, Kohli posted pictures with his wife Anushka Sharma and other Team India stars, who are currently on the tour of South Africa. He captained his post, “We hope everyone is blessed with joy and happiness this new year. We send you our love and positivity.”

Indian pacer Deepak Chahar, who has been named in the ODI squad announced on Friday for the series against South Africa, wished his fans as well. Deepak shared a photo with his fiancé Jaya Bhardwaj and wrote: “Wishing you all a very happy new year May god fulfill our wishes and give us happiness. #2022 #love #health.”

Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and wrote: “That time of the year when we’ll do 2̶0̶2̶1̶ 2022. Time for a reboot! Wishing everyone a healthy and happy new year 2022.”

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh extended his good wishes and also urged fans to keep wearing masks and following COVID-19 guidelines.

“Keep laughing, singing and stay healthy. Wishing you & your family a very Happy New Year! May the new year bring lots of happiness to all and make every moment memorable. COVID is still not over – mask up & follow all precautionary guidelines to keep yourself and your loved ones safe,” tweeted Yuvraj.

India women’s ODI captain Mithali Raj wrote: “Here’s to a new year filled with many new opportunities, memories and experiences. Wish everyone a very happy new year, and my best wishes to all of you for a great 2022! #HappyNewYear”
