The mega-auction for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is inching closer with each passing day. The players’ bidding process is set to take place on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru, and each franchise has buckled up to prepare the best combination of players.
But before the two-day extravaganza occurs, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the full list of 590 players who will be going under the hammer at the upcoming mega-auction.
Further, the apex Indian cricket board has also named the list of stars identified as ‘marquee’ players for the bidding process. As many as six overseas cricketers have been included in the ‘marquee’ list, while the remaining four are Indian superstars.

Among the 590 players, 28 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players, and seven belong to Associate Nations. Further, 370 are Indian players, and 220 are foreign cricketers.
Regarding the prize bracket of stars, as many as 48 players have placed themselves at the highest bracket price of INR 2 crores. Similarly, 20 players have kept themselves on the reserve price of INR 1.5 crores, while the price bracket of INR 1 crores is set to feature 34 players.
