Indian speedster Prasidh Krishna is currently playing the Ranji Trophy 2022, which started on February 17. Prasidh, who represents Karnataka in the domestic circuit, put up a dominant show during his side’s ongoing match against Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Prasidh sent shockwaves to Jammu and Kashmir’s camp, destroying their top and middle-order with his high-class bowling display in the first innings. The right-arm quick bagged a six-wicket haul to help his team bundle out Jammu & Kashmir for a mere 93 in reply to Karnataka’s 302 in their first innings.
Prasidh returned with jaw-dropping figures of 6/35 in 12 overs. The 26-year-old dismissed the likes of Qamran Iqbal (35), Jatin Wadhwan (25), Shubham Pundir (5), Abdul Samad (3), Parvez Rasool (1), and Fazil Rashid (2) to complete his six-wicket haul.

Earlier, after opting to bat first, Karnataka posted a competitive total of 302 on the board, thanks to a splendid knock by Karun Nair. The right-handed batter smashed a remarkable hundred to help his team reach a decent score. Nair punished J&K bowlers all around the ground and scored a brilliant 175 off 311 balls with the help of 25 boundaries.
After bundling out Jammu & Kashmir for 93 and taking a lead of 209 runs, in their second innings, Karnataka declared at 298/3. Nair continued from where he left and scored a crucial half-century. He remained unbeaten on 71 while opener Ravikumar Samarth (62) and Krishnamurthy Siddharth (72) chipped in with valuable contributions. While chasing a massive target of 508, Jammu & Kashmir have scored 149/4 in 51 overs and are trailing by 359 runs.
