On the second day of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auction, England cricketer Liam Livingstone grabbed the highlights after becoming the costliest buy among foreign players.

The high-quality all-rounder triggered a bidding war amongst four franchises – Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Gujarat Titans (GT). However, Punjab eventually won the battle with their say of INR 11.50 crore for Livingstone.

  • 11.50 crore – Liam Livingstone (Punjab Kings)
  • 10.75 crore – Wanindu Hasaranga (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
  • 10.75 crore – Nicholas Pooran (Sunrisers Hyderabad)
  • 10 crore – Lockie Ferguson (Gujarat Titans)
  • 9.25 crore – Kagiso Rabada (Punjab Kings)
  • 8.75 crore – Jason Holder (Lucknow Super Giants)
