The ongoing 2022 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has reached its business end.
Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars will face each other in Qualifier 1 on February 23, while Peshawar Zalmi will take on Islamabad United in the Eliminator next day. The Qualifier 1 winner will directly go to the finals, while the loser will meet the winner of Eliminator 1 in Qualifier 2 on February 25.
During the last league game of PSL 2022 between Qalandars and Zalmi, a shocking incident caught everyone’s attention as Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf slapped his teammate Kamran Ghulam while celebrating a wicket.
Rauf lost his cool in the second over of Zalmi’s innings when Ghulam dropped Hazratullah Zazai’s catch. Three balls later, Rauf dismissed Mohammad Haris, and when his teammates got together to congratulate him, the speedster slapped Ghulam.
However, later in the innings, when Ghulam ran out Wahab Riaz with a direct hit, Rauf walked up to his teammate and gave him a hug, warmly tapping him on the side of his head.

Zalmi managed to post 158/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Shoaib Malik top-scored for his side with 32 off 28 balls, while Haider Ali chipped in with 25 from 22 deliveries. Fawad Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers for Qalandars, taking two wickets for 26 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
In reply, the Qalandars also managed to tie the score with the loss of eight wickets, thanks to late fireworks by tailender Shaheen Afridi. The left-handed batter smacked 39 off 20 balls with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes.
But, in the Super Over, Zalmi won the contest. Wahab Riaz bowled a super over, conceding only five runs before Malik smashed two back-to-back boundaries to seal the deal for his team.
