Defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their opening match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on March 26 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

CSK roped in players like Deepak Chahar, Dwayne Bravo, Robin Uthappa, Devon Conway and Shivam Dube at this year’s mega auction. Ahead of the bidding event, the Super Kings had retained their four star players in form of MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali and Rururaj Gaikwad.
