The 2022 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) began on Saturday with defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) taking on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
IPL is the most lucrative franchise league in cricketing world and not just players, the T20 extravaganza also witnesses some of the best commentators and female anchors.
This year’s commentary panel witnesses a fresh face in form of Suresh Raina. ‘Mr IPL’ has finally made his commentary debut alongside Ravi Shastri, who returned on air after a seven-year hiatus.
Fans favourite Mayanti Langer is also back as an anchor after a gap of two years. She took a maternity leave for the birth of her first child before the start of IPL 2020.
