Only three teams haven’t yet won a single game so far in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, and two of them – Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) – will be up against each other in Match 17 at Mumbai’s DY Patil Sports Academy on Saturday.

Both sides have struggled in all the three departments and would be looking for their opening triumph in the fifteenth season of the cash-rich league.

Pitch report:

Since it’s a day fixture, batting first and setting up the target would not be a bad idea for teams as dew won’t be in the equation.

Probable XIs:

Chennai Super Kings: Robin Uthappa, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, Dwaine Pretorius, Chris Jordan, Mukesh Choudhary

Match Prediction:

Case 1:

  • CSK wins the toss and bats first
  • Powerplay score: 45-55
  • CSK total: 145-160

Case 2:

  • SRH wins the toss and bats first
  • Powerplay score: 40-50
