Gujarat Titans (GT) thrashed Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 24 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at Mumbai’s Dr DY Patil Sports Academy on Thursday.

Chasing the massive target of 193, Rajasthan did maintain the run-rate well but kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Opener Jos Buttler played a blistering knock of 54 from 24 deliveries, including 8 fours and 3 sixes.

But other than the English superstar, no batter could stand up tall against Gujarat’s bowling lineup. Eventually, RR could only manage to reach 155/9 in 20 overs, to lose the contest by 37 runs.

Earlier, Hardik Pandya led Gujarat from the front to take his side to a massive total. The star all-rounder stayed unbeaten till the very end and made sure Gujarat breached the 190-run mark. Hardik smashed 87 from 52 deliveries with the help of 8 fours and 4 big sixes.

Apart from Hardik, youngster Abhinav Manohar (43 off 28) and David Miller (31 not out) made some valuable contributions down the order as Gujarat posted 192/4 in their allotted 20 overs.
