The match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) turned out to be a nail-biting thriller where LSG eventually won in the final over and registered their first win in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Thursday.
In a high-scoring contest, there were a lot of talking points for fans. From Robin Uthappa‘s heroics to Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis‘ exploits, many such moments captured the attention of fans. However, the most eye-catching incident took place after the match when former CSK skipper MS Dhoni and LSG’s mentor Gautam Gambhir met each other and got involved in a friendly chat.
The video of Gambhir chatting with Dhoni is now going crazy viral on social media platforms as several admirers of Indian cricket went down memory lane after witnessing the heartwarming moment. Notably, Gambhir and Dhoni were part of quite a few memorable victories for India over the years and had a much-talked-about rivalry in the cash-rich league.
Gambhir and Dhoni were part of the 2007 T20 World Cup-winning campaign and the 2011 50-over World Cup-winning side. Gambhir retired from all forms of cricket in 2018, while Dhoni hung up his boots from international cricket in August 2020.
Coming back to the viral video, the two World Cup-winning heroes can be seen talking to each other quite comfortably and appear to be sharing a light-hearted moment as well.
