Indian superstar Virat Kohli recently opened up about the most memorable and heartbreaking moments of his glorious cricketing career. In a video shared by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on their official Twitter handle, the former RCB skipper was seen answering a few questions while the team was working on their photoshoot.

In behind the scenes video, Kohli was asked about his heartbreaking and memorable moments. When it comes to some sad moments, the Delhi-based cricketer picked RCB’s loss in the final of Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2016 and India’s defeat in T20 World Cup semi-final played the same year.

Notably, Kohli was the best batter of the 2016 IPL season, scoring 973 runs and powering his team to the final stage. However, he couldn’t lead RCB to the title triumph as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won the contest under the captaincy of David Warner. Similarly, Team India lost to West Indies in the 2016 T20 World Cup semifinal.

“IPL final 2016 and that same year, 2016 World Cup semifinal at Wankhede against West Indies,” Kohli said while recalling the heart-breaking moments.

Talking about the most memorable moments of his career, Kohli mentioned the remarkable win that his team registered against Gujarat Lions (GT) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2016.

“The last game that we played in 2016 against Delhi in Raipur. And then the very next qualifier, when AB played a gun knock, and Iqbal was with him at the other end. The celebration after that game was the most special that I have ever experienced,” added Kohli.

The 33-year-old was also quizzed about his favourite athlete of all time and how would he will react if he woke up like him one day. Kohli named Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, stating: “Cristiano Ronaldo! I would do a scan of my brain (if I woke up as Ronaldo) and see where all that mental strength comes from (smiles).”
