Sri Lanka have announced their provisional squads for the upcoming multi-format home series against Australia, starting June 7. The Aussies are set to tour the Island nation for three T20Is, five ODIs and two Test matches.

Notably, the 50-over fixtures will be a part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League. Similarly, the Tests will be a part of the ongoing World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle.

Recently, Australia had named a full-strength squad for the tour, with the Test team being captained by Pat Cummins and the white-ball sides being led by Aaron Finch. Now, the hosts have announced a 24-member provisional squad for the Tests and two 26-member provisional squads for the ODIs and T20Is.

The red-ball outfit will be led by none other than Dimuth Karunaratne, while Dasun Shanaka shall take charge of the limited overs squads.
