Gujarat Titans (GT) produced a clinical chase against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 1 to enter the final of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Tuesday.

Explosive batter David Miller and captain Hardik Pandya played the starring roles to take their team home with a seven-wicket win over the Royals. Chasing 189, Miller hit an unbeaten 68 while Pandya made 40 not out as the IPL debutant overhauled the target in 19.3 overs.

Earlier, RR lost Yashasvi Jaiswal (3) early, but captain Sanju Samson and opener Jos Buttler dominated the proceedings with their aggressive batting during a second-wicket partnership of 68 runs.

Samson got out after scoring an entertaining 47 off 26 balls, but Buttler stayed almost till the end, smashing his way to 89 from just 56 deliveries. For GT, Rashid Khan bowled extremely well and finished with none for 15 in his quota of four overs
