Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya and his wife Pankhuri Sharma became parents as they got blessed with a baby boy. Krunal, who represents Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), shared an adorable photo of his newborn baby on his official Twitter handle on Sunday.

Krunal, brother of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, posted a picture of Pankhuri and their kid while also revealing that they had named their son ‘Kavir Krunal Pandya.’ Notably, Krunal and Pankhuri got married to each other in December 2017.

Krunal, who has so far played in 19 T20Is and five ODIs for the Indian team, recently signed for English county Warwickshire for the Royal London Cup One Day championship.

Warwickshire are scheduled to play eight group-stages matches, with four at home in Edgbaston, in this summer’s Royal London Cup competition. The top three counties at the end of the group stage will progress to the knockout stages.

Warwickshire’s director of Cricket, Paul Farbrace, had termed the signing of Krunal as an incredible move as the all-rounder’s presence will help the team and boost the morale of the rest of the players.

“Krunal is an incredible signing for the Club, and I’m delighted to welcome him to Edgbaston. Krunal will bring a wealth of international experience to a team that will be desperate to do well. Due to our impressive T20 performances, we will lose players to The Hundred, but that’s always going to happen to successful teams. The opportunity to add a world-renowned all-rounder to an exciting group is fantastic,” Farbrace had said in a statement.
