India and Australia are all set to face each other in the three-match T20I series starting Tuesday at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

Australia have recently met New Zealand in the ODI series, where they whitewashed the Black Caps. India, on the other hand, have had a disappointing time in the Asia Cup campaign.

Ahead of the opening T20I, both teams will miss key players. While Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of the series with covid for India, the trio of Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Marsh, and Marcus Stoinis will be unavailable for Australia.
