Pakistan and England will lock horns with each other in the third T20I of the ongoing seven-match series at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday.

Both sides encountered in the second T20I on Thursday, where the hosts thrashed the visiting side by 10 wickets thanks to a dominating batting performance by Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan.

The home side will be looking to carry the winning momentum and capture victory in the third game as well to take the lead. On the other hand, the English team would be aiming to bounce back.

Pitch report:

The National Stadium hosted both the previous two high-scoring matches and fans can expect another cracker of a game. Dew is likely to impact, so batting second seems to be an ideal choice at this venue.

Probable XIs:

Pakistan: Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Babar Azam (c), Haider Ali, Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Usman Qadir, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Shahnawaz Dahani

England: Philip Salt (wk), Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali (c), Sam Curran, David Willey/Reece Topley, Luke Wood, Liam Dawson, Adil Rashid

Match Prediction:

Case 1:

  • Pakistan wins the toss and bowls first
  • Powerplay score: 40-50
  • England total: 170-180

Case 2:

  • England wins the toss and bowls first
  • Powerplay score: 45-55
  • Pakistan total: 180-190

Team batting second to win the contest.
