Pakistan have entered the Super Four of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 after registering a humungous victory against Hong Kong at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.
After being put to bat first, the Men in Green posted an enormous 193/2 on the board in their allotted 20 overs. Mohammad Rizwan was the star of the night for Pakistan with an unbeaten knock of 78 runs from just 57 deliveries with the help of seven boundaries, including a six.
Apart from the wicketkeeper-batter, Fakhar Zaman and Khushdil Shah also chipped in with valuable contributions to take the team to a formidable total. While Zaman scored 53 off 41 balls, Khushdil smashed a quickfire 15-ball 35.
In response, Hong Kong were completely dominated by the Pakistan bowling attack, as no batter could score in double digits. Hong Kong’s captain Nizakat Khan, with 8 off 13 deliveries, was their top scorer as the entire team was bundled out for a mere 38 in 10.4 overs.
Shadab Khan picked up four wickets for just 8 runs in 2.4 overs, while Mohammad Nawaz bagged a three-wicket haul while conceding only 5 runs in 2 overs.

Lets b honest, majority of the runs in the last 7ov were a gift. Wont be the case vs top quality sides
Strike Rate at the top need to pick up,batting at the top must evolve into a more proactive&aggressive approach, esp when the top 3 play 60-70% of the balls#T20WorldCup #PAKvHK
