The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Monday, announced their squads for the upcoming tour of New Zealand and Bangladesh, starting just after the conclusion of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
Senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul have been rested for the New Zealand tour. In the absence of the trio, Hardik Pandya will lead the Men in Blue in T20Is. Shikhar Dhawan, on the other hand, will continue to captain the ODI squad. Rishabh Pant, who has already led India before, will be the vice-captain for both T20I and ODI legs of the tour.

Ravindra Jadeja picked for Bangladesh tour
Left-handed all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who missed the T20 World Cup due to a knee injury, has been included in both the ODI and Test squads for India’s tour of Bangladesh in December. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah continues to recover from his back injury and, therefore, not considered for either of the series.
