Cricket in India is a religion, and the players in this country are considered demi-gods. During a recent show hosted by Star Sports India, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was asked questions ranging from her love for cricket and her favourite cricketer from the current era.

Katrina, admired by many as an actor, has been seen in many cricket matches at various stadiums. In fact, she was the brand ambassador of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) during their early days.

Katrina reached the sets of Star Sports India along with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi to promote their upcoming film ‘Phone Bhoot’. After treating the audience with the film’s amazing trailer, the actors cheered for Rohit Sharma’s Team India, which is currently competing in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

Who is Katrina Kaif’s favourite cricketer?

When Katrina was quizzed about who is her favourite cricketer at present, after thinking for a while, the bubbly actress said: “Virat Kohli is my most favourite cricketer in the world”.

“He has a temper, he has shown that in the last few innings. He play well against Pakistan,” she added.

Katrina further said that she also likes cricket very much and used to play the gentlemen’s game in her childhood days.

Virat is the most followed sportsperson in the world. Only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi come ahead of them. A few days back, his picture with a fangirl went viral on the internet.

Virat’s fan following is all over the world, including Australia, England and Pakistan.

Talking about cricket, Virat has scored half-centuries in both matches of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022. In the last-ball thriller against Pakistan, Virat played an unbeaten knock of 82 from just 53 deliveries and guided his team to victory.

In India’s next game against the Netherlands, Virat smashed 62 not off 44 balls and laid the foundation for his side’s big win.
