On paper and with recent form, many would pick India as favourites. They have had the better of South Africa in previous ICC events, and outplayed them in a T20I series just before this one with pretty much the same team. But something that was lacking earlier this month seems to have changed in the Proteas side. There’s a hunger for the win, and like India, they probably need more than some soggy bread to satiate it.
