Namibia will lock horns with Netherlands in the fifth match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 at Simonds Stadium in Geelong on Tuesday, October 18.
Both teams have opened their account with victories in their first matches. Namibia pulled off a big upset in the tournament opener by defeating Sri Lanka.
Similarly, in the second match, Netherlands registered a thrilling win over United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The previous two matches played in Geelong showed that the track offers a fair bit of assistance for seamers, especially in the initial stages of the match. At the same time, batters struggled to accelerate the run rate and clear the long boundaries at this venue. Team winning the toss might opt to bowl first.
