“It makes your job a lot easier. It’s difficult when you have two seamers who have to do pretty much everything. We have three or four, and everyone is better at something than someone else. We can always turn to someone else if things aren’t going well. It gives you a sense of calm and also confidence that you need going into a tournament like this,” said South Africa pacer Lungi Ngidi ahead of the game.

“This is a very important match for South Africa because they would have expected to have one more point. They will have a bit more pressure on them. It’s almost a do-or-die match for them, whereas we are coming into this game on the back of a win,” said Bangladesh skipper Shakib al Hasan.
