Team India and Pakistan played a nail-biting thriller at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday in T20 World Cup 2022, where the Men in Blue managed to register the famous win, thanks to tremendous innings by Indian superstar Virat Kohli.

Chasing 160, India were in a spot of bother after losing four wickets for 31 in 6.1 overs before Kohli and Hardik Pandya took the team out of trouble. The duo added 113 runs for the fifth wicket as the contest went down to the wire, where India needed 16 off the final over.

Pandya was dismissed on the very first ball of the over, but Kohli stayed unbeaten at 82 off 53 deliveries to take India home.

Earlier, Arshdeep Singh and Pandua shined with the ball helping Pakistan to restrict at 159/8 in 20 overs. Arshdeep picked up three wickets for 32, while Pandya also bagged a three-wicket haul for 30. Iftikhar Ahmed (51) and Shan Masood (52) were the top run getters for the Men in Green.
