Pakistan skipper Babar Azam turned 28 on Saturday (October 15) and he celebrated his birthday with the captains of all participating teams.

Australia’s Aaron Finch played a good host and brought a cake for the birthday boy. Babar, who was sitting besides Richie Berrington of Scotland cut the cake in front of the reporters.

Well, this was not the only cake Babar cut at the Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne. He also cut a two-tier green-coloured cake presented by Pakistan cricket’s digital team in the another room.

ICC shared the images from Babar’s birthday celebration captioning: “Happy birthday @babarazam258. That cake looks good!”

Babar has risen up the ranks in modern-day cricket and has transformed himself into a run-machine, amassing a truckload of runs during his stint in the international arena.

Moreover, the talismanic batter will hope to maintain his form and display his sublime performances on Australian soil. Babar and Co. will compete with Rohit Sharma-led Team India on October 23 which marks their first fixture in the 2022 T20 World Cup.
