Team India’s star batter KL Rahul is all set to begin the second innings of his life. He will be marrying his long-time girlfriend and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty after the 2022 T20 World Cup, and the wedding ceremony will take place in Maharashtra.

According to reports, Rahul and Athiya may tie the knot at the end of the year or during the first week of January 2023, and they will exchange vows at Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty’s bungalow ‘Jahaan’ in Khandala.

In September, Suniel confirmed that the couple would take a next step in their relationship as soon as they are free.

Rahul had recently requested the BCCI for some personal time off after the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. That’s why he hasn’t been named India’s T20I and ODI squads for the New Zealand tour. The right-handed opener has no injury concerns; he has taken a break to fulfil his personal commitments.

Rahul and Athiya are reported to be getting engaged in the last week of November. Significantly, the celebrity couple’s upcoming engagement and wedding functions will be the talk among the fans.
