New Zealand and India will face each other in a three-match T20I series on the back of their exit in the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinals.

Kane Williamson will continue to lead the Blackcaps, while Hardik Pandya will captain the Men in Blue.

“In T20 cricket, it’s important to be aggressive. We have the guys who have this ability to express themselves. So that’s the message from the captain and myself: be aggressive, but also focus on conditions and situations, and use that experience,” said India’s stand-in head coach VVS Laxman on his team’s playing style.

India have given rest to majority of players who featured in the 2022 T20 WC. On the other, Martin Guptill and Trent Boult are the only notable absentees in the New Zealand squad.
