Sri Lanka are ready to host Afghanistan for a three-match ODI series starting November 25 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. This will be the first international outing for both sides since their campaign at the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

When it comes to the 50-over format, both teams have not played each other in an ODI since the 2019 ODI World Cup. Sri Lanka and Afghanistan would be looking to make it big in this series leading up to the ODI World Cup, scheduled to take place in India next year.
