Bollywood diva Urvashi Rautela has shared a cryptic post on her Instagram account after India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant got injured in a car crash near Mangalore police station in Roorkee on Friday (December 30) morning.

Taking to the photo and video sharing application, Urvashi uploaded a picture of herself dressed in ethnic attire and captioned it “Praying.” While the actress did not mention Pant’s name anywhere in her post, fans were quick to claim that the caption was directed towards the injured cricketer.

On Twitter, she wrote: “I pray for you & your family’s wellbeing.”

The development came soon after Pant suffered multiple injuries during a road accident on his way to Roorkee from Delhi. He was returning home to surprise his mother on the occasion of New Year.

For the uninitiated, Urvashi and Pant were speculated to be dating after being spotted together at popular eateries, parties and events in Juhu (Mumbai) in 2018. The next year on Valentine’s Day, Pant dismissed all the rumours and broke out the news of his relationship with childhood girlfriend Isha Negi.

In September this year, Urvashi apologized to Pant after dragging him into a controversy.

On the work front, Urvashi will next be seen opposite Ram Pothineni in a Telugu film. She is also currently completing her shooting for the upcoming Hindi movie ‘Inspector Avinash’.
