New Zealand superstar Kane Williamson was the first player to be sold at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction in Kochi on Friday (December 23). The 32-year-old batter was bought by Gujarat Titans (GT) for his base price of INR 2 crore.

Following Williamson a big and intense bid of England’s young gun Harry Brook took place. The right-handed batter was finally acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for a whopping price of INR 13.25 crore.
