Former Australian skipper Michael Clarke has engaged in a fresh controversy after being caught in a scuffle with his girlfriend, Jade Yarbrough, and TV presenter Karl Stefanovic.

In footage obtained by The Daily Telegraph, a shirtless Clarke can be seen limping before his girlfriend, Yarbrough, who accused him of cheating, slapped multiple times on Clarke’s face. A bystander who filmed the fight told the outlet that he spotted Clarke and Stefanovic at odds before things escalated further.

The drama occurred when Clarke and Stefanovic were at dinner with Jade and her sister, Jasmine, who is married to Stefanovic. The group dined at a beachside restaurant on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast when Yarbrough lost her cool and slapped Clarke multiple times. Yarbrough screamed at the ex-Australia captain and said, “You f**ked her on December 17 … You f**ked her, you’re a f**king dog.”

After getting slapped, Clarke was seen taking a dig at Yarbrough’s brother Stefanovic, saying, “Karlos, I can tell you now, c**t, don’t you f***ing walk away. She can, she can punch me, but you, you c**t.”

After the big drama, Clarke issued his apology and accepted full responsibility for his actions. The Aussie said he was deeply regretful for whatever happened.

“I’m deeply regretful for having put people I hold in the highest esteem in this difficult situation. My actions in the lead-up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable. I am shattered that because of my actions, I’ve drawn women of class and integrity, and my mates, into this situation,” Clarke told the publication.

Clarke played 115 Tests, 245 ODIs and 34 T20Is for Australia, in which he scored 8643, 7981, and 488 runs, respectively. He also smashed 28 hundreds in the longest format, including 4 double centuries and 27 fifties.
