The Paarl Royals and Joburg Super Kings faced off in Match No. 4 of SA20 at the Boland Park in Paarl on Friday, January 13.

The Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first, but their innings got off to a rocky start. Despite some valiant efforts, they could only put up 81 runs before being all out in 17.2 overs. Bjorn Fortuin of the Royals stood out with his three wickets for 16 runs, earning him the ‘Player of the Match’ award.

Evan Jones also put in a strong performance for the home team, taking three wickets for 21 runs in 2.2 overs.

With such a low target to chase, the Royals were able to easily beat the Super Kings, reaching 82-3 in just 10.3 overs. This win also gave David Miller & Co. a bonus point.

The Royals’ win was a team effort, with several players contributing to the team’s success. The team’s strong performance in this match will boost their confidence as they look to continue their winning streak.

On the other hand, the Super Kings will have to go back to the drawing board to come up with a strategy to make a comeback in the tournament.
