Legendary Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the most popular cricketers in the world. Both on and off the pitch, Dhoni is among the most celebrated players globally and enjoys a god-like status in India.

The Ranchi-born superstar enjoyed a sparkling career where he dominated as a batter, wicketkeeper and captain. Dhoni is widely recognised for changing the dynamics of Indian cricket as under his leadership, Team India India won all the major ICC titles, namely, the inaugural 2007 T20 World Cup, the 50-over World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2013.

Not to mention, Dhoni’s charisma wasn’t only limited to the international arena as he accomplished many landmarks in the domestic circuit, especially in tournaments like the Indian Premier League (IPL). He played a main role in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) outstanding success as the veteran stumper led CSK to four IPL trophy triumphs in 2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021.

Not only on the field, but Dhoni is also super popular with his out-of-the-league advertisements, especially in the IPL. Currently, the former Indian skipper is trending on social media platforms as a picture of him dressed as a police officer is getting viral.

As soon as the picture surfaced on social media, the fans spent no time coming up with their speculations and analysis regarding what MSD could be doing while being dressed as a cop. Some admirers even claimed Dhoni would be seen acting in the third part of the Bollywood movie ‘Singham’ – a police-oriented film by Rohit Shetty.

Dhoni, who has retired from international cricket, will soon be seen in action in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The 39-year-old will yet again lead the ‘Yellow Army’ in the 10-team competition.
