Indian great Virat Kohli broke a more than three-year-long century drought in Test cricket after he brought up his 28th Test ton on Day 4 of the ongoing fourth Test against Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
It was Kohli’s century number 28 in the longest format. His last triple-figure score came against Bangladesh in 2019.
Notably, Kohli has smashed the maximum eight centuries against Australia followed by five each against England and Sri Lanka. Similarly, the former India skipper has also hit three centuries against New Zealand and South Africa followed by two each against Bangladesh and West Indies.
