On Sunday (March 26), the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are hosting an event at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru called ‘RCB Unbox’. The event is set to be a huge success, especially since former stars AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle will be attending along with former RCB skipper Virat Kohli. The stadium has undergone renovations, including improvements to the acoustics, lighting and seating arrangements.

The franchise has made sure that no stone is left unturned to make the event a success. International singer and pop star Jason Derulo, Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar and Aditi Singh Sharma are some of the artists who will perform at the event. Additionally, the event marks the start of the practice session for the entire team, which will give fans the opportunity to see their favourite players up close.

De Villiers and Gayle will be officially inducted into the RCB ‘Hall of Fame’ and the franchise will retire their respective jersey numbers ’17’ and ‘333’ to honour the two legends. It is also possible that some members of the RCB Women’s team of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) may attend the event. Furthermore, the franchise will unveil their kit for the forthcoming edition.

RCB will play their first game on next Sunday (April 2) at home against Mumbai Indians (MI), who have won the IPL five times. The franchise will play six of their seven home games in April and will hope to make the most of their home advantage before heading to the away fixtures. The reunion of the trio and the event will undoubtedly excite fans and electrify the atmosphere at the stadium.
