Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are all set to lock horns with each other in the final of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, March 26. While Delhi reached the summit clash by finishing on the top of the league’s points table, Mumbai defeated UP Warriorz (UPW) in the Eliminator to book their spot in the inaugural tournament’s final.

For DC, their skipper Meg Lanning has led her team from the front in the season and is currently the highest run scorer in the event with 310 runs. On the other hand, the bowlers of MI performed exceptionally well for them and have dominated the WPL 2023.

Although UP’s Sophie Ecclestone leads the WPL bowling charts with nine wickets, MI’s Saika Ishaque, Hayley Matthews, Amelia Kerr and Issy Wong have also bagged nine scalps each in the league so far.
