WPL 2023: Mumbai Indians vs UP Warriorz – Team and Match Prediction
Harmanpreet Kaur, Alyssa Healy

Mumbai Indians (MI) and UP Warriorz (UPW) will face off against each other in the 15th match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Saturday, March 18.

MI has been performing exceptionally well in the ongoing tournament, having remained unbeaten in all the five matches they have played so far. Their captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, has been leading the team from the front and they are the first one to qualify for the knockout stage. With only three league stage matches left for Mumbai, they only need to win two to secure the top position on the WPL points table and directly enter the finals.

Meanwhile, UPW have been struggling in the T20 competition, having lost their previous two games against MI and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The Warriorz currently occupy the third position on the points table, having won two matches out of the five they have played. With two matches remaining against top-ranked MI and second-ranked Delhi Capitals (DC), the Alyssa Healy-led side needs to win at least two out of the three remaining games to qualify for the playoffs.
