The second edition of the FairBreak Global Invitational Women’s T20 tournament is all set to begin from Monday, April 3. The event will start with the Falcons facing the Tornadoes in the opening game. While the last year’s FairBreak Invitational was held in Dubai, the 2023 edition will take place at the Kowloon Cricket Club in Hong Kong.
A total of six teams will be seen participating in the tournament, and the league will witness 20 matches. Notably, Tornadoes won the inaugural FairBreak Global Invitational Women’s T20 competition and will step into the second edition as the defending champions.
As far as the format of the league is concerned, every team will be awarded three points for a win and one point for a draw. Meanwhile, teams will share a point each in case of the abandonment of the match or no result. There’s also a bonus point to the team with the highest score after ten overs of the batting innings.
