The ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar, is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time and has billions of admirers across the world. The Master Blaster turned fifty on Monday (April 24) and received a plethora of wishes from not just the cricket fraternity but also the actors and athletes from other sports as well.

Notably, Sachin represented India for over two decades and has amassed record 34,357 runs in 664 international matches, including 100 centuries. He’s the only player in cricketing history to hammer 100 tons. The World Cup winner has also been awarded the highest civilian award of India, i.e. prestigious Bharat Ratna, for his service to the nation.

The list of people who wished Sachin on his 50th birthday includes the likes of Ravi Shastri, Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, actor Venkatesh Daggubati, WWE wrestler Triple H and many more. Even the different franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL) took to their social media handles and penned a note for Sachin on the joyous occasion.

Among all, the most funniest wish for Sachin came from his ex-opening partner Sehwag, who shared a video of him standing on his head and wrote: “Maidaan par jo aapne kaha , uska ulta hi kiya, toh aaj aapke iconic 50th birthday par toh aapko Shirshasana karke wish karna hi tha. Wish you a very happy birthday @sachin_rt Paaji, aap jiyo hazaaron saal , Saal ke din ho ek crore. #HappyBirthdaySachin”
