Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will square off against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Saturday (April 22). Notably, both LSG and GT faced the same opponent in their previous games, i.e. Rajasthan Royals (RR). While Lucknow emerged victorious in their match, Gujarat were handed over a defeat by RR.

Kyle Mayers shined for the Luckow-based team in their last match as he scored a handy fifty for his side. Meanwhile, Avesh Khan picked three wickets in the second innings to guide LSG to victory. At the same time, despite Shubman Gill (45) and David Miller (46) playing decent knocks, GT suffered a loss against Rajasthan. Although Gujarat lost the match, Mohammed Shami bagged three scalps for his team.

LSG currently are on the second position of the points table and would eye the top spot when they meet the Gujarat-based team on Saturday. On the other hand, GT are on fourth place and will look to move up as well.
