MS Dhoni’s popularity goes beyond his impressive cricketing skills, as his calm demeanour, personality, and conduct both on and off the pitch make him a beloved figure in India and around the world. While his cricketing brilliance is exceptional, his overall demeanour sets him apart from other players, making him a much-loved figure.

Recently, a heartwarming video of Dhoni went viral on social media. The video shows him wishing his former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate and franchise legend Dwayne Bravo a happy birthday. Former CSK batters Suresh Raina and Robin Uthappa alongside current players, Ambati Rayudu and Ravindra Jadeja, also wished Bravo’s mother a happy birthday.

Although the Super Kings had a shaky start to the IPL 2023 season with a loss in their first match, they bounced back with a solid win in their first home game. Dhoni & Co. scored an impressive 217/7 in their 20 overs, and despite the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) coming close, they eventually fell short by 12 runs. This win will boost CSK’s morale and give them the confidence they need to perform well in future matches.

After the game, Dhoni emphasised the importance of controlling wides and no-balls. CSK bowlers conceded 13 wides and three no-balls in the game, which can make a significant difference in the final outcome. Dhoni’s commitment to improving the team’s performance shows his dedication to the sport and desire to help his team succeed.
